This collection came together over 70 years of making art within a community of artists. Printmaking, in particular, can be a social process in the context of a university setting. Martha found this as a printmaking student and then as a faculty member at Oregon State University. The Art Department’s faculty and faculty from other departments, printmaking students, and visiting artists would share the open printmaking studio. When editions were completed artists would trade prints with each other. The atmosphere was highly educational, rich, vibrant, and stimulating. We are happy to be able to share these works with you.
